The version of SLC Free 2 that I sell is not the same as the open source version. The version that I currently sell has a change in hardware to provide more voltage protection; the intent was good but in retrospect it was dumb. I am not releasing that version as open source because I do not want to look dumb and I do not want other people to replicate my mistake.
Also, the current version of SLC Free 2 that I sell was manufactured during the pandemic and I overproduced. I have roughly 1 year of inventory left. I won’t release a new improved version of SLC Free 2 until my current inventory is near depleted because of money.
