Weird voltage issues

I have a new spartan 3 with the adv sensor connected to a ms3 via canbus and a canchecked gauge via the high performance analog out. I’m getting weird startup voltages and readings where it freezes for a few seconds and then comes back. Instead of the 1.66 and 3.33 it goes from 0v for 5 seconds to 2.55-2.65v for 5 seconds and then starts reading, it shows as 14.7 on canbus and the analog out. While it’s running it will freeze for a second or two at idle on both canbus and analog, but then when I open the throttle it shows a steady signal. I have not connected directly to the battery yet, but I measured 0 ohms on both grounds and a solid 13.6v on the power wire. Planning on doing the battery test tomorrow.

I have the heater ground connected to the ecu ground on the cylinder head and the electronics ground to the ms3’s sensor ground. I had both grounded to the head, but switched to the sensor ground to try to fix the issue. It’s powered by it’s own relay, initially used it for my fuel pump so it has an additional fuse where it connects to the battery, forgot about it when I installed the wideband.

I haven’t changed any of the settings, but I did check that the slowheat was set to mode 0 and confirmed it was programed for the adv sensor.

Any ideas?
