Voltage variates from 12.5 to 14.4V when I connect the controller

Hi, I have too issues with my car, I don’t know if its from my car’s wiring or other spartan users get the same issues.

  1. The voltage constantly moves from 12.7 to 14.4V so quite bad when I connect the controller.
  2. My narrow band gauge is lit when I connect the brown simulated narrowband wire to it, even thou its NOT on, I think the switch is on 12V so the ground is connected.

The first one is very annoying because I have a lot of maps with dwell and timing that follow the voltage so my engine is not stable as it should.
Controller is Spartan 3 Lite v2

Updated the firmware yesterday to 1.09 and still the voltage moves…maybe a little bit less, but still annoying

The wideband controller uses between 10-30W of power. It is not a large amount of power, maybe your electrical system is in poor shape.

Yes, I am curios if other people get this variation of voltage when they connect the controller, I expect the voltage to not change atoll…
