Spartan 2 it’s been a workhorse for my race car (analog vintage racer with carbs). However, this year I started getting inconsistent and unreasonable values and I found myself chasing jet tuning.
I removed the sensor from the exhaust and turned it on, it’s heating up but my dash is showing a constant 16.8 which of course is nonsensical in free air. I’m using formula (2*x)+10 in the dash (Race Technology Dash2PRo), same as before.
I do not have access to a cig lighter to test with gas, but I did try it with a propane torch used for sweating plumbing and it didn’t make a change.
I did briefly run leaded fuel a couple years ago but no longer.
I’m guessing I need a new sensor? I’d buy a new Spartan 3v2 if needed but if a sensor will do it I can go that route first.
