I’m trying to get the serial connection to the Spartan 3 OEM to work. I don’t have the sensor connected. I have the two grounds plus 12v hooked up. (13, 14, 15). When I type a command, like GETHW, I can see the characters echoed. I use the USB to Serial converter with network equipment so I know it works. I’m at 9600 baud. when I power it up the onboard LED blinks red at a 1 second rate then goes out. Eventually the LED goes out. Shouldn’t I be getting a response? Thanks.
You need a UART to usb converter.
I do have a USB converter. I should get a response without the LSU connected correct?
9600, N, 8, 1 is correct for the Spartan 3 OEM?
In Termite all I get is the command that I issued echoed.
