Spartan 3 OEM pinout and board outline

I am interested in building some a custom carrier board for the Spartan 3 OEM module to add a 3.5mm TRS jack for serial, and some custom connectors.

The pinout and board outline shown in the documentation look different than the image posted on the product. There is a supplementary breakout on the board in the image with 5 pads (shows 5v and GND). If that breakout is on the board, is an updated outline available so I can design the carrier boards and housing in advance?

Is the current Spartan 3 OEM that version shown with the header appendage in the middle? If so, is the pinout available for that? Similarly, there are another 10 pads on the module that are not listed in the documentation. Are these completely unused, and does any certain protection need to be made of these to avoid any interference/noise

Finally, I see that the documentation for the CAN HI / Pin7 has it listed as a diagnostic LED with blink codes. Can this be used in conjunction with CAN, or is it either or? Any suggested specs for an LED when running with CAN?

Thanks!

The part that is not in the board outline, you can cut that off, it is a programming header. In the future, I may not have the programming head on the PCB.

The pads that are not labelled are duplicates of the 2.54mm pins. If you look carefully, each of the non-labelled pins in the manual are color-coded and match the color of the pin of the corresponding 2.54mm pin header. I use the non-labelled pins to solder cable to the PCB to make my fully assembled Spartan 3 v2 wideband controllers.

There is a mistake in the manual that is now corrected, https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0189/1312/files/SPartan_3_OEM_Manual_cfb6b7b5-c5dc-4a28-a865-fc7afcbaad13.pdf?v=1720630028, CAN Hi only has the CAN Hi function and CAN Low only has the CAN Low function.

Thanks for the fast response, and the updated documentation and clarification on the color-coded pads.

Looking forward to getting these carrier boards designed and having a quality WBO2 solution for my application.
