Hi all,
I have sent an email a few days ago but I understand that sometimes support emails get lost.
I’ve got a Spartan 2 controller that blew its fuse a while ago. I replaced the fuse, but since then it’s never worked properly. At first I thought it was sensors, but I’ve now tested three different LSU 4.9s (all ~4.5 Ω heater resistance, which matches Bosch spec).
Test results:
Red→Black = 12 V with ignition on (power good)
Green→Brown = stuck at 0.46 V output
Grey↔White = 0 V across heater pins, no heater activity with sensor connected
Brown CAL wire insulated (not grounded)
Gauge wired to Green (0–5 V output)
Looks like the controller powers up but never drives the heater, so the sensor stays cold and output flatlines.
Does this line up with a known failure mode (heater driver blown)? If so, is there still a repair or upgrade path to Spartan 3/3 Lite?
Thanks in advance.
