I’m using a Link G4X ECU I have the Spartan3 V2 (Shipped with firmware 1.10 and updated to 1.11) connected to turn on with the ignition switch and I wanted to guarantee the Lambda heating element only works when the engine is running.
I’ve found that SLOWHEAT2 does not seem to work even when the 14point7 is set to LinkECU mode while the engine i running. What I mean by this is that it seems to always report AFR 0.00, Status Heating and 0ºC temperature to the Link ECU. I guess if I wait the 10 minutes, it’ll eventually be heated, but I have not waited 10mintues to test this.
I guess that the Spartan3 V2 is ignoring the can message 958 from the ECU which includes the RPM. How can I get this working on the Link ECU? Do I need to fabricate the MS3 can message ( message ID 1512? )
