Tried bench testing my sensor after wiring it in as the car is a little way off starting. Tested with a butane lighter and afr won’t move off 20, has a stable 5v on the signal wire, heater works fine and it is seperately grounded to the sensor ground.

I would you a propane tirch or MAP gas torch, it needs to be very hot (red) befpore it will transfer voltage.
Wideband sensors operate at high temperatures (typically 1200-1400°F) and rely on a heater element to reach and maintain these temperatures. A simple torch test might not fully replicate this operating condition

Ended up just soaking a rag in brake clean and it gave me a reading straight away so no worries
