Schottky diode D1 went up in smoke

Hey guys,

I recently purchased a Spartan 2 OEM Board along with the connector and the Bosch sensor.
After triple checking the wiring I powered it on and the Schottky Diode D1 went up in smoke (See the picture)… I think the board was faulty. What should i do now? As i live in germany, shipping takes forever…
