When querying the device for the current lambda, more than 90% of the response is not related to lambda… With the total number of characters transmitted, the shortest amount of time between AFR measurements is 33ms.

Can the next firmware revision include two new commands (L and T perhaps?) which return the measured lambda or LSU temperature as 3 bytes?

+1 for this. The best I can get for G is 40ms. GETFW is 23ms.
@toalan any chance you can add more efficeint UART command just to get lamda value? 40ms communication while high performace mode allows 10ms samples is definitely a limitation.
