Extending LSU ADV sensor cable for Spartan 3 v2

I just ordered a Spartan 3 v2 with the LSU ADV sensor for installation in a 1982 Corvette.

Because of the vehicle layout, the O2 sensor bung is located just behind the passenger-seat area, while I would ideally like to mount the Spartan 3 v2 controller inside the storage/ECM compartment behind the driver’s seat.

The limiting factor is the cable between the LSU ADV sensor and the Spartan controller.

Can the LSU ADV sensor cable be safely extended?

If so, do you offer or recommend a specific extension harness, cable type, connectors, or maximum extension length? I would likely need only a few additional feet.

I do not want to splice or modify the wideband sensor wiring in a way that could affect accuracy or sensor/controller operation, so I would prefer to follow your recommended method.

The controller’s 0–5 V analog output will be connected to a Dynamic EFI EBL ECM.

Something like this may be an option: HT-010719 Wideband Extension Harness To suit LSU4.9 - Haltech

Although the 14point7 controller with it’s long connection cable back to the power/ECU is kinda designed to be used as the ‘extension’ to get close to the sensor connector itself.

Thanks. Can you confirm that the HT-010719 LSU 4.9 extension uses the correct connectors/pinout and is safe to use with the LSU ADV and Spartan 3 v2?

I made some extensions for a portable SLC Free WBO2 tester (see posts here Tail Pipe Sniffer - #6 by sganz ) and I found cable and connectors on Amazon to make them. I think I have about 10+ feet of cable for each. I only did minor testing and from what I saw there was no difference with a short or longer cable.

I was working with my own connectors on the other end, not sure what you need on your side, but I would imaging you could find them on Amazon as well. Just make sure it’s the right gender.
