Can the Bosch LSU ADV pre-made cable be shortened as I am struggling to loose about six foot of it on my motorcycle?

Hi,

The 8ft cable can be shortened with no ill effect, infact the shorter the cable the better the performance of Spartan 3.

You can reterminate the molex end with these:

2x3 female

Contacts Bulk

Alternatively, you can cut a section of the cable out and use heatshrink to patch them back together.
